Generally everything was modern. Our room was clean and cosy and complete with tea. The staff were really helpful and excellent! The provided service was exceptional. Plus, we parked on site. Location: the hotel was near Galloway forest, Scotland and home made jams.

We got great value for our money at this lovely B&B. The room was clean, homely, and comfortable, and the location amidst the countryside was absolutely beautiful. Ronnie, our host, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent communication throughout our stay.
The breakfast could have been improved with a faster arrival of hot water in the hand sink.

We had a wonderful romantic escape tucked away in the stunning countryside. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was simply superb, with a comprehensive choice and even gluten-free options available. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding landscape and for visiting a cozy pub just a short walk away. We also appreciated the extra touches in the room, such as the availability of tea, coffee, and a hairdryer.
While the room was lovely and well-presented, we did notice a slight inconvenience with the hot water in the hand sink taking a while to reach the tap. the bed consisted of two single mattresses, which could be felt through the mattress toppers.

The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade bread and jams. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me feel at home right away. The location was also perfect, with a short walk to other food options in the area.
The sink in the bathroom took a while for the hot water to arrive, and the bed was made up of two separate mattresses with a noticeable gap in between.

The hospitality was exceptional and the breakfast was of high quality, featuring local options. the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and outdoor activities. the host was very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay.
The limited access to the property during certain hours, was not ideal for coming and going spontaneously, which may have detracted from the overall homely atmosphere. some minor issues with plumbing and the bedding arrangements made it slightly less than perfect, but these were minor in the grand scheme of things.

Our xmas stay was absolutely brilliant! the hosts were amazing, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. the rooms were impeccable and the beds were so cozy. We loved that we could pre-order our breakfast and choose the time we wanted to eat. the breakfast itself was superb, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. the location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the Galloway Forest. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the specially toasting bags for gluten-free bread.
Not having a key to come and go as we pleased. It made the place feel a bit less homely and limited our flexibility, especially for a multi-night stay.
